Medical Scribe Requirements

Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Pre-health career track
- College sophomore status or higher
- Minimum 6 month time commitment
- Ability to work at least 2 shifts (or 16 hours) per week
- Ability to obtain education and vaccination records; including childhood immunizations

What does the application process look like?

Start by submitting an online application. You will also be asked to complete a typing test. Our Talent Acquisition Team will evaluate your resume, application, and typing test results.

Once you have accepted an offer to be a medical scribe with ProScribe, you will begin a 3-phase training program designed to set you up for immediate success. Training starts with medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, medical documentation, and extends to the electronic medical record and the specific preferences of each provider.
